This girl was so one note it drove me crazy. ![]() I like a real three dimensional protagonist with strengths and weaknesses. She made the main character Lucy sound so immature. She read this book in such a cutesy girlish tone I couldn't take her seriously. There are so many serious topics brought up such as rape and sex. The premise is still intriguing: an ancient family curse revolving around a creepy poem!? Sign me up! However, I was so disappointed when I actually sat down and read it all theses years later. I added this one to my wish list and one day decided to try it again. I kept this book in the back of my mind for years always meaning to go back and finish it. I don't recall finishing it, but the premise always intrigued me. I remember reading this book when I was younger and in high school. ![]()
